Bubbles

Bell Cros outside of Marça, close to the small town of Falset in DO Montsant is a vineyard that is growing. Acquisitions of neighbouring vineyards have increased the size of Bell Cros to over 25 hectares, with 16 hectares of grapevines that will produce some 50,000 bottles a year. The vineyard and the winery are officially EU-organic certified. From vintage 2023 onwards all Bell Cros wines will carry the EU-organic logo, the green leaf. The wines are Vegan certified as well.

Ida & Peter 2025

The owner of Bell Cros, Peter, and the daughter Ida they love bubbles. Now finally Bell Cros first bubble is ready. It is made of 100% Garnacha Blanca grapes and according to the original Ancestral-method. The wine was bottled before the fermentation was finished and then it continued to ferment, converting the remaining sugar to carbon dioxide as a result. After that, it has spent 7 months on the lees.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS A perfect choice as an aperitif or with snacks. Serve with mild cheeses, olives, roasted almonds, light charcuterie, salted crisps, breadsticks or a fresh summer salad. Best served chilled, around 8 °C.
TASTING NOTES A beautiful and bright golden color. In some bottles the wine is not entirely clear as the Ancestral manufacturing method is manual. The bubbles enhance the citrus and anise fragrance with a light touch of pastries. On the palate the wine has volu¬me, it’s lively and refreshing, thanks to the subtle carbonic.
STORING Drink now or mature for up to 3 years.
